This morning (May 7th), Augusta celebrates the annual Dragon Boat Festival and the Augusta University Confucius Institute is sponsoring a boat and a booth at the event.

If your time allows, come enjoy the beautiful day, participate in Chinese cultural activities (tai-chi, dance, calligraphy, paper cutting, etc.), try authentic Chinese food, see our dragon boat race, etc.

We’ll be there from 10:30 am on and our boat races at 11:30 am. Did I mention that I was promoted to boat captain? ^__^

• Venue: Lake Olmsted, 2200 Broad Street Augusta (see map)
• Confucius Institute booth: V7 (see booth layout)
• Admission: Free; bring family and friends with you (see event flyer). You may wish to bring some money for food/goods vendors.
• Parking: free (but allow time; it will be very crowded)
