QM 2016 Conference

The 8th Annual QM Conference will include many opportunities to learn, connect, and share. Join the QM community as we gather to collaborate in shaping education’s future.

About the Conference Theme: Blazing New Trails

Education, in its many forms and uses, is still a frontier. Think of the Oregon Trail. It began as a foot path, transformed into a westward migration route for wagons and eventually became interstate highways. The landscape of education has similarly been transformed by the cyber highways of modern times. What does the future territory of education look like from our 2016 vantage point? It’s a question we’ll explore at the 8th Annual QM Conference — just as the visionaries of the 1800s looked westward and pondered future possibilities.

Keynote Panel and Plenary Sessions
The Opening Keynote Panel and General Plenary Sessions are the threads that connect attendees to the conference theme each day. The three sessions will address the new trails being blazed for the future and how to prepare for them from three perspectives:

  1. Opening Keynote Panel — Senior leaders in the field with a broad vision for the future
  2. Plenary Session 2 — Organizations seeking to serve educators and institutions as they march to the future
  3. Plenary Session 3 — Front-line educators needing to implement the future
