The  Spring 2017 Georgia Council of Graduate Schools conference is calling for proposals from faculty, staff, and administrators. Proposal are due before January 20, 2017.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Georgia Council of Graduate Schools will host its annual conference, April 28-29, 2017 on the Georgia Tech campus in midtown Atlanta. The theme of this year’s conference is engaging graduate students. We invite proposals for presentations, sessions, and/or panel discussions that appeal to graduate studies faculty, staff, and/or administrators. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

·         Communicating with Graduate Students
·         What do Graduate Students Want?
·         Professional and Career Development Programs
·         Faculty-Student Interactions
·         Serving Online Students
·         Recruitment and Retention of Minority Students
·         Family Friendly Graduate Student Programs
·         Orienting New Graduate Students
