Flipped Class

Flipping a classroom refers to the pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are flipped or reversed.

The instructor prepares lectures and makes them available to students ahead of time, typically in the form of short videos. Students go through lecture materials at home, before the class session. Finally, the actual class time is used for active learning (e.g., exercises, projects, or discussions).
